Beginning with the 2009-2010 school year, anyone who volunteers at anytime in the Unit 5 school district must undergo a background check.
If you are new to the district or have never completed the background screening on-line application, you will need to email Mrs. Stevenson in our Benjamin office and she will send you the application link. Once you have completed the on-line application, the results are sent to our district office. Once reviewed, they will make you a new volunteer badge that will delivered to Benjamin.
If you have completed the on-line background screening in the past, you will need to complete a volunteer RENEWAL form only and submit to the unit office. To complete the renewal form click here. If you are in need of a replacement badge, please be sure to check the appropriate box on the renewal form! Please call me at (309) 557-4410 to check the status of your badge! Unfortunately I do not have time to contact individuals when badges arrive. Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Benjamin! We greatly appreciate the support of our families!
