    AFTER-HOURS TRANSPORTATION CALL CENTER

    Unit 5 has implemented an after-hours transportation call center available from 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number to call during that time period is 309-557-4800.

    Those needed to contract Transportation outside of these hours should call 309-557-4BUS.

    HOW TO FIND YOUR CHILD'S BUS ROUTE
     
    Bus route information is available on your Skyward Family Access. Please log into Family Access and follow these instructionsThe Transportation Staff continues to work to improve routing. Please check this information periodically, prior to the start of school, to ensure there have not been any significant changes. If you do not have access to the Internet, or you are unable to view your child’s information, please call 309-557-4287 (4BUS) Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. If you need to update or change your child’s information in Skyward, please contact your individual school.

  • RAAB ROAD CLOSUREconstruction

    Raab Road will closed to all traffic between Normal Community High School and the entrance to the Apostolic Christian Church located just west of Towanda Barnes Road until approximately the middle of September 2016. Access to Normal Community High School will only be from Airport Road. Through traffic will be detoured to Fort Jesse Road. This road closure is for the reconstruction of Raab Road from Normal Community High School to Towanda Barnes Road.

  • LATE START WEDNESDAY - August 31

    Wednesday, August 31 is a late start day and all Unit 5 students will begin classes one hour later than usual. Elementary classes will start at 8:45 am, high school students will start school at 9:30 am, junior high students will begin at 9:45 am and . Buses will be running one hour later. Students should be at their designated bus stop one hour later than their regularly scheduled pickup time. Early childhood students who attend morning classes will start classes one hour later, while the afternoon program will start at the regular time.
