    Bus route information is available on your Skyward Family Access. Please log into Family Access and follow these instructionsThe Transportation Staff continues to work to improve routing. Please check this information periodically, prior to the start of school, to ensure there have not been any significant changes. If you do not have access to the Internet, or you are unable to view your child’s information, please call 309-557-4287 (4BUS) Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. If you need to update or change your child’s information in Skyward, please contact your individual school.

  • 6-12th GRADE - RENTAL LAPTOP DISTRIBUTION
    laptops Unit 5 is hosting a consolidated laptop distribution for all 6th-12th grade students who are renting devices for the upcoming school year. The laptop pickup will be from noon - 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 3 and Thursday, August 4, at Heartland Community College in the Astroth Community Education Center. Identification will be required to receive a laptop (driver’s license, school id, etc.), and laptops will only be distributed to a student or his/her parent or guardian. A student unable to pick up his/her laptop at Heartland will receive one during the first week of school. They will not be available at registration. We hope that with all of our technology staff in one location, we will be able to provide an efficient and accommodating experience for all of our families.

  • IMMUNIZATIONS REQUIREMENTS

    It is time to start thinking about the 2016- 2017 school year!  Unit 5 students will not be allowed to start school without the required immunizations and/or physical exam. No appointment cards will be accepted in place of a completed physical exam form and immunization record. Immunization laws have changed, including a requirement for the Meningitis vaccine (MCV) for 6th and 12th grade students. For a full list of additional mandates for all grade levels, CLICK HERE. Please check with your child's doctor and make any required appointments now.

    When:

    Breakfast served Monday – Thursday, June 20 - July 14 - 8:15-9 a.m.
    Lunch served Monday – Friday, June 6 - July 1 and July 11-29 - 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
    No lunch served the week of July 4.

    All are welcome to eat. Adults meals may be paid by cash only

  • RAAB ROAD CLOSUREconstruction

    Raab Road will closed to all traffic between Normal Community High School and the entrance to the Apostolic Christian Church located just west of Towanda Barnes Road until approximately the middle of August 2016. Access to Normal Community High School will only be from Airport Road. Through traffic will be detoured to Fort Jesse Road. This road closure is for the reconstruction of Raab Road from Normal Community High School to Towanda Barnes Road.
